Gardens on Air Local for Local
The first women owned farm in Alabama, Gardens on Air integrates Radix in their existing vertical aeroponic towers, hydroponic, NFT, and aquaponic techniques to grow a variety of produce: herb, wheatgrass, barleygrass, sprouts, and microgreens. They advocate local food by striving to provide an ultra-modern place of CEA indoor farming, growing, and learning for sustainable and renewable practices that everyone can use to grow healthy and delicious clean-grown produce and vegetables without having to use harmful herbicides, pesticides, and chemicals.
Their produce can be found in local grocery stores and restaurants. By way of growing and providing local food, they’re strengthening and solidifying their community as a whole.
